Stones donate to Crocker Art Museum auction

For the second year in a row Andrea and Rob donated pieces to the Crocker Art Museum’s Big Names, Small Art auction, which benefits the Crocker’s many educational programs for adults, children, teens, and their families.


Andrea honored in 2018 International Photography Awards competition

Andrea received seven Honorable Mentions in this year’s International Photography Awards competition entitled OneShot Harmony. The judges made their determinations based on the originality, creativity and excellence of execution of the submitted images. Among Andrea’s recognized photographs was this one taken in Los Angeles in 2016.


Andrea releases new work at invitation-only event

On the fourth of this month, Chris Ann Bachtel hosted an invitation-only release party for Andrea’s new work titled Jellies. The response to this event was incredibly enthusiastic. The energy of over 100 people was palpable and exceeded expectations. Thank you to Chris Ann for the work she did to make this event a reality. Leslie Hunter and her event staff did an outstanding job preparing the food, staging the building, and so competently serving such a huge crowd.


Stones participate in Davis Art Studio Tour

This was the fourth year of participation in the Davis Art Studio Tour and it was another great experience with a very receptive crowd. Thanks again to the Davis Art Center’s Mike Azevedo and Stacie Frerichs for their tireless efforts at organizing and promoting the tour.


Andrea begins new project, also presents to Napa Valley Photographic Society

Andrea began a new project she is calling Jellies. Seemingly a departure from her graphic architectural portfolios, there is a common thread in the fluidity of her new work and her liquid reflections.

On August 28, Andrea will be presenting her work to the Napa Valley Photographic Society.


Rob publishes limited edition prints, Andrea featured in Italian newspaper

Rob’s special limited edition prints from the award winning Hidden Treasure: Restoring Putah Creek portfolio are now available and on view at the Stone Photography Gallery. These special prints produced for Putah Creek Council are signed and numbered (1/50) and are printed on 20” x 24” archival matte paper. Once these unique prints are sold they will not be released again.

Lumas Gallery sells over 200 of Andrea's prints for new corporate residence in Singapore

Lumas Gallery, Singapore sold 222 of Andrea’s City Reflections prints to the brand-new Oakwood Premier Oue Singapore apartment complex.

Rob's work featured at annual environmental event

Rob will be participating in the Putah Creek Council‘s annual stewardship event Wednesday April 19th at 6:00 p.m. at the Berryessa Brewing Company in Winters. Special limited edition prints will be available for purchase as well as larger prints. This is a great opportunity to meet everyone involved with the restoration of Putah Creek.


Rob releases two limited edition prints

Rob announced the release of two special limited edition prints from the award winning Hidden Treasure: Restoring Putah Creek portfolio produced exclusively for the Putah Creek Council.  The prints are signed and numbered (1/50) for the images Willow and Spring on Lake Solano. Twenty prints of each image have been assigned to the Putah Creek Council for gifts to donors and annual awards. The image size is 11” x 14” printed on a 20” x 24” archival matte paper. The remaining thirty prints of each image are available to the public for purchase. This is a rare opportunity to own a signed and numbered print for $100. The next available size is 16” x 20” (edition of 5) and sells for $325.
