Stone Photography Gallery Closes

Twenty-twenty was a difficult year for so many businesses and Stone Photography Gallery was no exception. At the end of the year, we permanently closed the gallery, following the temporary closure in March. We want to thank each and every one of you who visited the gallery over the years and supported our work, and we want to let you know that we are continuing to produce and sell our art online via this website.

Andrea Featured in French Magazine: Lumières de la Ville

Paris-based online magazine, Lumières de la Ville, published an article in February 2020 showcasing Andrea and her work. Including a series of photographs from Metropolis: European Collection, the publication describes Andrea’s photographic work as being “placed between Mondrian’s sobriety and Kandinsky’s exuberance.”

Andrea B. Stone Featured in Collecting Fine Art: The Lumas Portfolio - Volume IV

For the past five years, Andrea has been represented by the fine art photography gallery, Lumas. Headquartered in Berlin, they have 29 locations around the world. This year, Andrea was included in their stunning photo book, Collecting Fine Art: The Lumas Portfolio – Volume IV. The book features Andrea’s 2011 photograph, City Landscape, taken in Chicago, Illinois.

Stone Photography Gallery Introduces Holiday Hours

We are pleased to announce that Stone Photography Gallery will be open to the public for the first time with our new holiday hours. We invite you to join us on Saturdays from 12 – 5 p.m., December 7th, 2019 through January 11th, 2020. Happy holidays and we look forward to you visiting our gallery soon.

Andrea Debuts European Collection with Champagne Reception

Stone Photography Gallery celebrated Andrea’s new European collection with an invite only, champagne reception on November 3rd. It was a wonderful evening with great company, and the Stones would like to thank everyone who came to share in the celebration.

Stone Photography Gallery Wraps Up 5th Year Participating in the Davis Art Studio Tour

The Stones’ 5th year participating in the Davis Art Studio Tour was an eventful one, with the grand debut of Andrea’s new collection, “Metropolis: The European Collection I & II”. Stone Photography Gallery welcomed over 100 inquisitive visitors of all ages over the course of the weekend. They also took this opportunity to introduce their new Gallery Manager, Megan Corcoran.

The Stones would like to recognize the Davis Arts Center’s Mike Azevedo and Stacie Frerichs for organizing and promoting another successful tour. They would also like to thank everyone who came to see their gallery during the tour. Each visitor’s positive energy and curiosity made for a successful weekend that was fun for all involved.

“Enigma” and “Summer Sedge” Exhibited in the Davis Arts Center

The Stones are exhibiting two pieces in the Tsao Gallery, Davis Arts Center, for the 2019 Davis Art Studio Tour. Andrea B. Stone’s “Enigma” was taken last year in Lucerne, Switzerland. Rob Stone’s “Summer Sedge” is from the Hidden Treasure: Restoration of Putah Creek portfolio.

Stones Participate in the 2019 Davis Art Studio Tour

This is the fifth year Stone Photography Gallery will be participating in the annual Davis Art Studio Tour. The gallery will be showcasing Andrea’s new European collection and two of Rob’s black & white portfolios.
